OUR POLICIES
As a small business in the competitive craft sector, we at Cupcake genuinely appreciate and enjoy each transaction. In return, our pledge to you is to give our utmost in great service and offer well-made, attractive products to enjoy. If you have questions or issues with any of our policies, we are mostly open to feedback and suggestions; as much as we can afford to be. Thank you for your support!
- Payment: Currently, PayPal is our only method, due to its speed, ease and online security. Google Checkout is currently under review, but may be available later in 2009. Items added into the shopping basket without completing Checkout remain the property of cupcake-crafts.com until cleared payment is confirmed and received. Obvious? Don't laugh, it happens!
- Shipping: We will post your order within two working days of receiving cleared payment. Let us know if you have specific requests such as sending your gift direct to a loved one for instance. We always obtain a Royal Mail proof of posting for every package sent, in case of a loss or damage claim. This also means your item is insured for up to a value of £35. Signed-for service (Recorded Delivery) is available for UK deliveries and can be added via Checkout. If you would like insurance on an order totalling over £35, please contact us for a quote. Once your item has been posted, we will confirm on 'Order Status' that it's on it's way.
- INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: We post all non-UK orders by Airmail, again with the same turnaround, proof of posting obtained and loss cover up to £35 value equivalent. If your location is not listed as one that we will ship to, please contact us for a quote and make arrangements if you wish to proceed.
- Items Lost or Damaged in Transit: Should your item not arrive within 28 days, or in the event that an item has arrived to you damaged in transit, please contact us as soon as possible so that a compensation claim can be lodged with Royal Mail on your behalf.
- Bank Holidays and Christmas: Please allow longer delivery times around UK Bank Holiday times, especially at Christmas. We do alert customers of the last posting dates for Christmas to avoid disappointment, but regret we can't take responsibility for delays out of our control.
- Refunds and Exchanges: All sales are final, but if you're desperately racked with indecision we will exchange items of equal price if, (a) you have contacted us beforehand to ask, (b) you are willing to cover all postage fees involved and (c) you then return the original purchase to us and it's received in an unworn, unused and undamaged state. Your requested exchange item/s will then be posted out within two working days.
- Additional Policies and FAQs : If anything should go awry in our transactions together, mutually respectful dealings are always appreciated. In the interests of a more pleasant experience for both parties, let's work out any problems peaceably!
